Institute for Globally Distributed Open Research and Education (IGDORE) is an independent and location independent research institute founded in 2016 to promote and enable open scientific practices. We aim to protect whistleblowers in science and to take responsibility for updating affiliated scientists and students on best scientific practices.
Scientists from any discipline and any part of the world can join IGDORE. They will typically do so to simplify their work as independent scientists. Others will become affiliated to make their commitment to transparent science (i.e. open scientific practices) explicit through an affiliation with a research institution dedicated to such practices.
IGDORE is a small start-up growing rapidly. We generate bimonthly reports that cover the latest developments of the institute. These reports are made public below.
